Lauded as the internet's piece de resistance, and the website's raison d'etre, Happy Cat is an eternal joy in my life. 

I have no comment for the current anarchic state of I Can Has Cheezburger, but the early days of the site were pure and AMAZING.  The entire site derived from this one image, the curious, indubitably jolly, gray, and rotund Happy Cat.  Eternally seeking, and rarely aquiring, he has but one purpose - the cheezburger.
